Review: Are You There Little Elephant?

Title: Are You There Little Elephant? (Usborne Little Peep Through Books)

Author: Sam Taplin

Type: Board book

Age group: 1 – 2 years

This one’s long pending. We got this book when M was about 14 months old. Usborne Little Peep-Through Books, as usual, do not disappoint. Peep-through is a wonderful wonderful series, with absolutely delightful pictures.

It asks ‘are you there little elephant’ on each page as we see a new body part hidden away between the riot of colours. And then when you turn the page, oops! It’s somebody else! M knew the concept of hide and seek before she was introduced to this book – that added to our reading fun.

It has cuts and holes for little hands to explore; and different animals on each page; perfect for a curious child. We as a family loooove elephants and so this was a natural choice for us. You could go for an owl, or a fox , or a tiger or a puppy or a reindeer! You will be spoiled for choices!

ADDED BY ASHA: Maithili has shared the inside pages of the very cute ARE YOU THERE LITTLE UNICORN? in the kbc fb group here.
Are You There Little Elf? is another popular book!
