Even though he did not show much interest in books (except tearing the flaps) in the beginning, at 2.5 years now; you can easily call Virat a book lover! The journey from tearing flaps to books having a calming effect has been beautiful.

As part of our very first entry in the #kbcbookbingo2023, we hope Shanaya’s fellow childoos find as much fun, hope, vocabulary through these books as she has in her first 14 months of life.
The Giraffe who came to play is the story of little Samara whose mummy gives her a comfort toy to play with at home. When she starts school, the same comfort toy provides her an immense sense of security, as despite the new environment, she still had something familiar.
The book includes both male and female names of the animals and birds. It then goes on to mention what their babies are called. The various calls of them are also woven into the content along with and the produce each of the farm animals provide us with.
Usborne Little Peep-Through Books, as usual, do not disappoint. It is a wonderful wonderful series, with absolutely delightful pictures. It asks ‘are you there little elephant’ on each page as we see a new body part hidden away between the riot of colours.
