A Pinch of Magic is a fun story in a South Indian setting revolving around a little girl, Veena, trying to help her aunt, Malu, who is in trouble. Malu who is a solopreneur selling herbal medicines is in trouble because of her broken pinching spoon without which she can’t measure to accuracy to get her medicines right.
Aunt Mallu, a herbal medicine specialist, leaves no stone unturned to hunt for her long lost teacher who once resided in the forest of Harrabharrapazham. Here’s where we also get a social message, showing the repercussions of deforestation.

The story has been been set up with a background of protest happening around family’s home and how the people of the community are supporting the cause together. It again shows the curious mind of the girl who inspite of her father’s resentment, goes forward to be a part of the protest.
