In her words, “Getting kids to do anything, usually requires providing lots of motivation and encouragement. Thankfully the smallies, like Neil, are easily encouraged by reward stickers. I give him one for good work done, good behaviour and even for just cleaning up properly. He loves choosing his own sticker as a reward, and also chooses where he wants to put it – on his notebook, hand or t-shirt! If you too are looking for a reward sticker book, this one is amazing – it has thousands of different types, big and small, with many different wordings, animals and fun sayings! FLASH CARDS
Brainy Bug Resources Flash Cards Suitable age : 2 to 6/7 years. It will vary for different category. E.g action words and verbal reasoning can be introduced as early as 2.5 to 3 years. Grammar and advanced concepts can be introduced later.
Sindhuja has shared a detailed review here in the kbc fb group. “Brainy bug resources have a wide range of flash cards to introduce essential vocabulary to kids. Their packs contain 30 to 50 flash cards to introduce action words, describing words, position words, naming words, tenses etc. . Additionally they also have verbal reasoning, emotional literacy, phonetics etc.
All their flash cards are beautifully illustrated. Very intuitive illustrations and very engaging and colorful. Instantly captures the attention of kids. Also they have categorized to levels making each level progressively more challenging than the previous. I started introducing action words cards to my kid when she was just 2.5 years old. She was able to pick up words in no time. Vocabulary increases tremendously allowing them to pick up the language faster and speak fluently. Must try!”
