Going to the doctor, getting vaccines, having medicines during fever is a nightmare for both parent and child. So very often we get queries around this topic. Here are some books that our parents have recommended.
Many a time we get a #kbcquery saying “My child gets scared by the sound of a pressure cooker, or the honking/reverse of a car, or the door bell….” Thankfully there are books that help introduce babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers to sounds and noises in a fun way.
This book has been a dear friend for almost 6 months and has been helpful in a variety of ways.
Since peer-to-peer recommendation rocks in our kbc facebook group, all of our members love to share their awesome finds with us! From book shelves to amazing engagement activities, our members love sharing information and of course photographs of everything that has worked well for them at home!
The first thing about ‘The Great Big Lion’ that took me by surprise was that it was written as well as illustrated by a 3 year old Mensa prodigy, Chryseis Knight. The art work and the level of detail gone into lion’s mane alone is exemplary. The bright board book caught eyes of my 3 year old instantly and I saw him flipping through the pages intently.
