Poem – Spring
Rate this Book / Post

I am posting this poem on behalf of my 9 year old daughter Prisha Ambi. She has written it on the occasion of Vasant Panchami as a school activity.

Spring

Yay!! Spring is here,
Spring is there

No more snow,
From now on flowers shall grow

Now we can see flowers and bees,
Green leaves on huge trees

When the snow melts away,
And it is rainy and gray

Tall trees have tender earth buds,
And dry earth turns to mud

Beautiful fresh purple flowers on a hill,
Slowly moving water mill

Clumps of wet frost on the ground,
Life is all around

The grass is green across the hill,
But yellow blooms the daffodil

It’s sunshine on a little stalk,
A friendly flower, I bet they talk!
