Packed with suspense and unexpected twists, ‘The Mystery Of The Disappearing Drone’ by Vidya V. was a thrilling read from start to finish. In the story, a boy Karthik, who is part of the AKA Detective Club, gets a really high-tech and expensive drone from his father as a ‘sorry-I-missed-your-birthday’ present. But when the club takes on a case involving a wealthy man whose Rolex was stolen through an open balcony door—and evidence points to a specific type of drone—suddenly all eyes turn to Karthik, and he becomes the prime suspect!
Can Karthik get out of this mess as well as save the AKA Detective Club which is crumbling and disappearing into oblivion? You have to read the story to find out!
Overall the story is really captivating and makes the readers hang onto it until they haven’t fully read it (for reference, I was up till midnight reading the book). This book is perfect for mystery lovers, and even if you’re new to the genre, it’s a great place to start! I especially liked the part when Karthik comes back strong with solid evidence that shocked the other members of the AKA Detective Club! With its surprising and dramatic ending, it’s also ideal for anyone who enjoys a good twist.
