No points in guessing that the book is about Groot and his feelings yet it did so with the use of minimal words. What I love about the book is the wide variety of emotions covered in this small book – anger, sad, confused, scared, confident. Yeah, even when I am typing this, I can feel that this is slightly unbelievable that minimal words and wide variety of emotions can go together. But that’s the beauty of this book.
This book uses minimal words (well, the Groot dialogue repeated, as you may guess) but is perfectly able to communicate the storyline with the cute illustrations. It would highly appeal to the young readers.
My daughter N (5 years) loved the book. She was intrigued about the characters of Marvel and we did talk about them the first time!! I haven’t introduced her to movies yet, so I liked that I could get to talk about the characters through this book.
I guess you can do the same. This book becomes a perfect way to introduce the kiddos to Marvel world. Are you listening Marvel fan parents?
