The Librarian Who Lost Her Books for 5-8 years (44 pages). Sowmya has shared a detailed review with a few inside pages in the fb group here. Quoting her:
“This is a simple story about Mahi, a young girl who loves her books and decides to become a librarian. Our little bookworm, Mahi loves being surrounded by different books: encyclopaedias, autobiographies etc. An unfortunate fire destroys Mahi’s beloved library. Mahi discovers ways to process her loss. She meets people of other professions and finds out how they pursue their passions.
This book is a wonderful way to teach kids how to overcome road-bumps apart from learning about different professions! The highlight of the book is the 10 pages of activities which are bound to keep your little ones engaged.”
Where Is Your Sister? by Puck Koper for 4/5 years+ (40 pages). This book is brilliantly illustrated and kids with an eye for detail will adore it! It can keep your child busy for at least 30 minutes for anyone who goes through it will get lost in the marvel of details!
A mom goes shopping with her two daughters. One of the kids takes off on her own and then the mom-daughter duo frantically look for her EVERYWHERE! It’s a hilarious book – shown simply through the brilliance in the depiction of the places they search for her!

What Mona Wants, Mona Gets (Walker Stories) for 5-8 years (64 pages). Asha saw a second hand copy of this book somewhere and grabbed it seeing the title. It was a topic so many of our kbc members would ask about. How to make your child understand that one needs to be content with what one has and not keep asking for things all the time, every single time we step into a store. “This funny and brilliantly illustrated book talks about all of this and some! “Be careful what you wish for…” is the core of the plot where Mona whines, gets, and then….?? Read it to know more. It’s a must have, especially for the illustrations. Every parent will relate to Mona’s mom’s plight! “
